Avocado Smoothie

Ingredients

- 1 medium avocado
- 2–3 cups almond milk
- 3–5 dates
Instructions
- Slice avocado in half, remove pit, and scoop out the flesh.
- Add avocado and almond milk to blender.
- Remove pits from all dates and add dates to blender.
- Blend on medium until thick and smooth.
- Enjoy!
Notes
Avocados: For this recipe, choose avocados that are ripe and soft.
How to Soften avocados: Wrap it in tinfoil and place on a baking sheet. Pop it in the oven at 200°F for ten minutes, or until the avocado is soft (depending on how hard it is, it could take up to an hour to soften). As the avocado bakes in the tinfoil, ethylene gas surrounds it, putting the ripening process into hyperdrive.
