There’s nothing like a fresh glass of Moroccan Mint Tea to sooth the senses. This recipe is sweetened with stevia leaves for a more healthier option. Stevia is a healthy sugar substitute with no negative health affects. Some healthy benefits of stevia are, reduced calorie intake, reduced blood sugar levels and risk of cavities. The fresh mint helps with indigestion, cold symptoms and helps mask and kill bacteria from bad breath.

Notes
A Healthier Moroccan Mint Tea: In Morocco, tea and sugar go hand and hand, it is used in Moroccan tea, and lots of it! For a more healthier version, I love using fresh or dried stevia leaves. It gives it that perfect sweet taste! If you prefer, stevia powder can be used as well as raw honey.
