Stevia is a healthy sugar substitute with no negative health affects. Some healthy benefits of stevia are, reduced calorie intake, reduced blood sugar levels and risk of cavities. A Healthier Moroccan Mint Tea: In Morocco, tea and sugar go hand and hand, it is used in Moroccan tea, and lots of it! For a more healthier version, I love using fresh or dried stevia leaves. It gives it that perfect sweet taste! If you prefer, stevia powder can be used as well as raw honey.
